On November, 25 2020 Joana Moll joined the SENSING colleagues* digitally to work together on the topic of "The Interface, Deconstructed". The workshop focused on analyzing common online tracking practices and the heavy environmental impact of such processes.

The GfM annual conference "Experimentieren" took place from September 29 to October 2, 2020. There, Jan Distelmeyer spoke about the shift of studying and teaching to online methods in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Christian Schwinghammer participated in the panel "Unbestimmtheit im Experiment".

On August 11t, 2020, the 48-hour festival of radio art „Listening to the Universe – Radiophonien des Alls“ started with contributions from some of the SENSING colleagues*. Kate Donovan conceived and organised the festival as part of the Datscha Radio Berlin team.

On July 5, 2019, the collegiates* together with the research group KIM - Künstliche Intelligenz und Medienphilosophie of the HfG Karlsruhe held the workshop with the question "How do intelligent machines see the world? How do humans see intelligent machines? Breaking the black box and designing tools for a transparent AI".
