Research
The ZeM’s research profile is formed by four thematic areas, which cover the combined interests and research fields by the different universities associated with the ZeM:
Media aesthetics and artistic practice | Media history and the culture of memory | Digitality and materiality of media | Media narration and media use |
The ZeM promotes research through national and international cooperation and by awarding scholarships to doctoral and post-doctoral students as well as visiting scholars. In addition, the ZeM will establish its own research focus.
In addition to this thematic orientation, the ZeM strives for three science-political goals: Education, Young Talent and Science & Practice.
