Bio
Michael Ufer studied film studies and philosophy at the Freie Universität Berlin. From 2015 to 2024, he was a Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF researcher at “Cinepoetics – Center for Advanced Film Studies”. In 2024, he earned his PhD in media studies from the Film University with a thesis on „Zeitformen der Liebe. Die Intimitäten filmischer und serieller Bewegungsbilder“ (“Temporal Forms of Love. The Intimacies of Filmic and Serial Movement Images”, summa cum laude). Since October 2024, he is the academic coordinator at the ZeM (Film University employee).
